Shorewood Addition
Project Overview:
The Grimm family had a few things in mind when they came to Potter Construction for help with their home addition. The parents had grown tired of sharing a bathroom with their two kids, they were interested in attaching their detached garage, and they wanted to regain the view that was lost as trees grew taller around their Seattle home.
Potter Construction’s solution was to build an addition over part of the house to seamlessly integrate the second story without impacting the entire home. By building the back addition two stories tall we were able to expand the Grimms’ kitchen and attach their garage. Together these additions created a more livable main floor and enough space upstairs for a bedroom, hall bathroom, and a master suite with a view.
