Shoreline Basement Remodel
Project Overview:
The VanDevanter family had a 1960s-style basement with a “Brady Bunch” fireplace in their Shoreline home, and came to Potter Construction looking for an update. They also wanted the room to feel less like a basement and more like a main living area. Potter Construction’s solution was to cover the fireplace with drywall and nice marble tiles, and to create a media room as well as a comfortable “hang-out” space by hiding the concrete foundation wall with built-in seating. The remodel brought the basement up to date while creating a new family media space.
