Condo Kitchen Remodel

Project Overview:

The Gaither condo kitchen had a 1970s brown and gold theme, with carpet and dropped fluorescent lighting. The goal was to update the kitchen while introducing a bit of an Asian influence to better suit the client’s style.

Potter Construction gutted the kitchen down to the studs to completely remove all remnants of the past era. And because there was no room to expand this condo kitchen’s footprint, it had to be opened up by doing away with the dropped fluorescent ceiling and taking advantage of every space. To give it an Asian look, Potter Construction used bamboo flooring, maple cabinets and black granite countertops, along with Italian glass tile accents on the backsplash. The result of the remodel was a warm, simple, clean kitchen—exactly what the client was after.
