Bellevue Kitchen Remodel

Project Overview:

The Ferrell kitchen project was part of the family’s entire interior home remodel. They came to Potter Construction knowing they could trust us in their home. For the kitchen remodel specifically, they were looking for an update and better use of space with a high-end, traditional look and feel.

Potter Construction started by gutting the whole thing, yet in the end, only moved the location of the cooktop and double ovens. To give warmth to the kitchen, Potter used cherry cabinets with a glaze and granite countertops with a red hue. A skylight was installed to lighten up the space and a bright new window replaced old sliding doors.

“The client said something during our walk-through at the end of the project that really stuck with me,” recalls Catherine Thompson, Designer. “Apparently the Ferrells had a lot of friends who had been through remodels before, and while most of them couldn’t wait to see the crew leave, with the Potter Construction crew, they were actually sad to see us go.”

Special Comments:

Bronze hardware (versus stainless) was used in this remodel to add warmth and a certain softness to this kitchen that otherwise has a predominantly masculine look.
